Amazon River Dolphin in Brazil

Where are amazon river dolphins in Brazil? The strongest odds are at Amazon Rainforest, where access and habitat beat a chance roadside glimpse.

Amazon Rainforest in Amazonas is the place to begin. Riverboat journeys through flooded forest, with pink dolphins, sloths, and more species than anywhere else on Earth. Give yourself quiet time at dawn or dusk and keep your distance.

Brazil context: Capybaras in the Pantanal, jaguars on the riverbank, and the lungs of the Earth in the Amazon.

In Brazil, look especially around rivers, flooded forest, and oxbow lakes. Those settings usually put you closest to where this species is active.
