Thorny Devil in Australia

Thorny Devils still occur in Australia, though specific park pins are still being curated. Use the Thorny Devil field guide for ID and biology, and the Australia expedition page for broader wildlife destinations.

Australia context: Koalas in the gum trees, kangaroos across the red centre, and wildlife found nowhere else on Earth.

When you are out looking, prioritise sandy desert, spinifex grassland, and arid shrubland in Australia. That is where local sightings of this species are most often reported.
